The outdoor space needed to reflect the home’s architectural calibre and stunning waterfront position. The client’s vision was ambitious: to create a high-end, resort-inspired outdoor area that balanced hard structural elements with soft, tropical landscaping.

This required meticulous attention to detail, integrating large-format tiling with precision, a custom concrete pool with architectural form and premium finishes, and ensuring the overall layout enhanced the natural flow between the home, the garden, and the canal.

Working within the constraints of an established property and existing structures, the Lynx Landscaping team had to coordinate multiple trades and manage high-end materials to achieve a flawless finish across every surface.

The design brief called for an elegant, modern outdoor space that complemented the home’s clean architectural lines.

• Pool Construction: A new, custom-designed swimming pool was to become the visual and functional centrepiece of the backyard, featuring high-spec pool tiling and precise detailing to match the home’s luxury aesthetic.
• Tiling & Hardscapes: Large-format external tiles were used throughout to create a consistent, high-end look and enhance the sense of space.
• Gardens & Softscaping: Lush tropical planting was layered around the pool and boundary zones to soften the built environment, introduce colour and movement, and elevate the resort-like feel.
• Steppers & Circulation: Concrete steppers were integrated down the side access to improve flow and functionality between the home and outdoor zones.

This plan aimed to create a space that not only looked refined but felt effortless, balancing bold structure with natural softness and liveability.

The custom concrete pool was constructed to exacting standards, finished with premium pool tiling that provides both durability and visual depth. The tiles, installed throughout the entertaining and pool zones, deliver a sense of scale and cohesion, tying every area together.

To balance the strong geometry of the hard surfaces, Lynx introduced layered tropical planting, combining statement foliage and dense underplanting to create contrast, texture, and a natural edge to the structured layout.

Steppers were added along the side access, improving circulation and reinforcing the seamless flow between each area of the property, from the home’s interior to the pool, gardens, and canalfront views.

The completed Admiralty project delivers a resort-inspired sanctuary that embodies sophistication and craftsmanship.
